Eukiah is STANDING, climbing and almost ready to walk! Holy wow - that happened a lot faster than I was expecting! He’s only just barely 8-months-old. Since I wasn’t quite ready for him to be upright, I didn’t realize he would be trying to pull himself up on anything and everything: chairs, ottomans, tables - ME, lol. I love our Little Balance Box because it’s a safe height and more effective way to help him transition to walking. He can maneuver table at his own speed and also use to to bang his toys at the same time (something he does on everything).
I was confused when Eukiah started drooling and biting everything all of a sudden - at 2 and half months? There’s no way he could be TEETHING?! But that’s exactly what was happening. Like most babies who experience teething pain, Eukiah wanted to put anything in his mouth. I wanted to make sure that what he was teething on was safe for babies. When Keri from Dents de Bebe reached out to me, I read her story and I knew that she understood exactly what I was going through as a fellow working-from-home-Mom. Her jewelry is specifically designed for teething little ones AND Moms who want to stay fashionable!
When Eukiah was only 3-months-old we braved our first airport travel experience together, solo! Packing for an out-of-state trip with a baby was quite a task! What do I bring? And how do I pack efficiently? One of the most essential items was my breast pump. My Ju-Ju-Bebreast pump bag was perfect for the job!
Apple Cider Vinegar for all your skin and hair conditions is the new coconut oil. But not everyone knows how to use ACV in a way that maximizes the benefits, especially when it comes to hair. Thankfully, DP Hue has perfected the recipe for ACV! Eukiah and I spent the day with the Millennial Mamas being pampered at the fabulous DP Hue House in Beverly Hills. We got scalp rinses, hair masques and blowouts (I got a “curl out”). I had no idea Apple Cider Vinegar was so good for my hair! Even as a curly girl, my hair has never felt more fresh at the root and shiny on the outside.
I cannot say enough great things about Tiny Tags and I wear my necklaces everyday because these pieces means something special to me. Their best known necklaces feature the names of children or the birth date or birth weight of their babies. I’ve also given custom pieces to my Mom (one that says “Grandma”) and other Mom friends because they make the perfect gifts!
Every Mom wishes she could have an extra set of hands, especially with newborns and infants. I love holding Eukiah close to me wherever I go, even if it’s just around the house, and being hands free is a game changer. With the new Tula Explore Baby Carrier I can face him inwards for some heart-to-heart cuddles and kisses, or I can now face him out so he can explore the world with me. The latter is definitely his favorite.
Styling baby is so fun! Especially now that you can add personal flair to all of your baby-related accessories. As parents Josh & I generally wear black, grey and white, so the current fashion trends are a great fit for us. I love my "Liv" pattern Car Seat Caboodle from Canopy Couture because it matches everything we wear and all of Eukiah's onesies! The Stretch Cover fits all makes and models of infant car seats, is easy to machine wash and is lightweight enough in this hot, LA summer heat.
I'm in love with the BLK Sheep BIKI bag collection! These vegan, waterproof bags are excellent for the beach, the gym and my favorite - as a diaper bag for baby. Since they are as stylish as they are utilitarian, I feel fashionable wherever I am. Add a scarf or a charm for the finishing touch!
Tranquilo Mat is a portable, soothing mat that we use to help Eukiah transition into the crib and bassinet more easily. The mat mimics the mother's womb by providing constant motion and sound, activating a baby’s calming response. The vibrations also generate a humming white noise. Our large Tranquilo Mat helped us a lot with the bassinet that we keep upstairs as it mimics the vibrating sensation from the rocker we use in the nursery. It should also help when Eukiah begins teething!
Patricia Green is a true Woman of the World and her shoe line is a reflection of the modern woman who values comfortable, chic style. The collection started out as cozy slippers that look like stylish shoes. As the company evolved to include espadrilles, loafers and everything else, comfort remained a hallmark. Even at 39 Weeks pregnant I have been able to wear the Rock Star Espadrilles because they don't feel like typical wedges
FabFitFun sends a box out every season that can be customized ahead of time and delivered straight to your house. Since I don't always have time to research the newest or most updated products lines on the market, I appreciate that FabFitFun does the work for me. I always end up enjoying every item so much that I become a loyal customer to that brand.
During pregnancy, what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. I've loved using Skin & Senses beauty products because all of the ingredients are completely vegan, organic and natural. The body butter and sugar scrub combination has been especially helpful in preventing stretch marks!
Since I juggle multiple careers in the fashion world and a corporate law office I need a timepiece that is both stylish and classic. My Daniel Wellington cuff matches with everything and it keeps me on time! I wear the Classic Black Sheffield with Rose Gold 36mmwith the Rose Gold Classic Cuff.
I love the Tubby Todd Newborn Essentials bundle. Their signature box is packed with natural, organic and baby-safe lotions, body wash, and creams. They also do frequent giveaways with all the best goodies from the latest trending Mom brands.
